AI course builder and the Exode AI assistant for school staff

NewImprovementAICourse builderHomeworkPaymentsAnalyticsAPI

Build a course with AI from a description — from course parameters to lesson texts. School staff get the Exode AI assistant for students, payments, push campaigns, analytics and homework review.

What’s new

  • AI course builder. The course list has a new “Create with AI” button. Describe the course and attach materials if you have them — AI suggests the course parameters, then a structure of modules and lessons. You can adjust the structure, after which AI writes the texts of empty lessons. Progress is saved in the course itself: you can return to the builder with the “Continue with AI” button on the course card.
  • AI course edits. The course content page and the lesson editor have an AI button: describe in your own words what to change, and AI prepares a proposal. New, changed and deleted blocks can be accepted or rejected one by one — the course stays unchanged until you accept the edit.
  • Lesson summary. The “Brief Summary (AI)” field in lesson settings can now be filled in with one click: AI summarises the lesson for students.
  • Exode AI assistant. School staff now have the assistant panel on desktop. It handles tasks across the platform: students and access, groups, courses and lessons, homework, payments, refunds, promo codes and installments, acquiring, mailings, analytics, and for companies — org structure, positions, employees, absences, the knowledge base and auto-assignment. Staff only see the tools they have rights for. The assistant makes any change, including bulk ones, only after confirmation, shows choices as buttons and links to the relevant school pages in its answers. It answers questions about the platform using the user guide and the developer documentation.

Through the assistant you can also:

  • Check homework with AI. A “Check with AI” button appears next to a submitted assignment in chat: the assistant assesses open-ended answers, including attached images and documents, and suggests points with an explanation. The curator sets the grade.
  • Send push notifications to students, choosing the audience by groups, courses, learning status and other filters. A test push comes to you first, and before sending the assistant shows the number of recipients.
  • Handle refunds and payments: create and cancel refunds for the school’s products and view the list of refunds, get the number and amount of successful payments per acquiring and currency for a period, and set receipt fiscal codes per product type for Atmos, Click, Multicard, Paylov, Payme and Uzum.
  • View lesson analytics for a course: views, how many students started and completed each lesson, likes and dislikes, average rating and reviews, plus a feed of student reviews with filters.
  • Reset student answers for a whole course or for selected lessons.
  • Set school rules and skills: how the assistant should work in your school and which routine scenarios it should follow. The assistant takes them into account in every new conversation. The chat also has a menu of ready-made skills.

What’s better

  • The knowledge base reads scans and diagrams in documents and indexes uploaded images as documents.
  • Knowledge base answers have clickable citations and a link to the original document, and come in the user’s language.
  • School mini apps can open fullscreen — a new window type in “Apps & pages”.

For integrators (API)

  • Import a whole course with modules, lessons and blocks: POST saas/v2/course/create, PUT saas/v2/course/:courseId/update, GET saas/v2/course/:courseId/get.
  • The UserCreatedViaLms webhook is sent when a school creates a user — one by one, via the SaaS API or by bulk import.
